Volvo Trucks Korea officially opened its expanded Buyeo office on the 17th of this month.
Located in Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, the Volvo Trucks Buyeo site has been expanded and relocated to a new site within one kilometre of the existing site, with new facilities built to the latest Volvo headquarters standards in Sweden, significantly enhancing service capabilities and improving customer convenience.
The Buyeo location has played a pivotal role as a service base in the Chungnam region for 23 years since its opening in 2002, with the highest service quality and ratings among the 31 Volvo Trucks service networks nationwide in customer satisfaction surveys. The expansion will significantly increase the scale of services and provide even more professional and convenient services to customers in Chungnam and the neighbouring Chungnam region.
The newly refurbished Volvo Trucks Buyeo location has more than quadrupled in size and is located close to the Seocheon-Gongju Expressway, making it even more convenient for customers. It is also located close to the Pyeongtaek-Buyeo-Iksan Expressway, which is currently under construction and is expected to provide easier access for customers in the Chungnam region. In addition to expanding and strengthening the service network, the Buyeo branch also opened a new sales branch, enabling customers who visit the branch to receive purchase consultations in one place.
The number of workbays for truck maintenance has also been increased from 4 to 7 (including sheet metal and painting bays) to increase the capacity of the workshop and improve work efficiency through state-of-the-art facilities, thus significantly reducing the waiting time for customers visiting the workshop. In addition, we have provided ample parking space and a separate comfortable customer waiting area for customers to relax, especially during maintenance, and have significantly upgraded our facilities and service programmes to provide fast and high-quality service from experienced mechanics by introducing a dedicated mechanic for service contracts (Blue and Silver) and a dedicated mechanic for campaigns.
With the expanded facilities and state-of-the-art facilities designed in accordance with Volvo Trucks global standards, the Buyeo site is expected to continue to improve customer satisfaction and serve as a service hub for the maintenance needs of the Chungnam region.
Volvo Trucks Korea has the largest service network in the domestic imported commercial vehicle industry with 31 service bases nationwide, including the new Buyeo location. In particular, through continuous investment, we are communicating with our customers with genuine, customer-centric and high-quality services.
"Volvo Trucks Korea's Buyeo plant, which has served as a service base for the Chungnam region throughout our history, is ready to welcome customers with a new look," said Kangseok Park, CEO of Volvo Trucks Korea. "Through this renovation, we will continue to provide high-quality maintenance services and strive to play a role as a reliable partner in the development of the local economy as well as customer satisfaction."
