Kia is launching a used car 'trade-in' programme. Customers who purchase a new Kia will receive a discount of up to KRW 300,000 when they sell their existing Kia model to the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Service. Customers can sell their Kia models through the certified pre-owned vehicle service as long as they are less than five years old and have less than 100,000 kilometres on the odometer.
Customers who sell their existing vehicle will receive KRW 300,000 off the new car price when they purchase a Kia ▲EV, K5 (including HEV), K8 (including HEV), or Bongo. Customers purchasing other models will receive a discount of 100,000 won. Customers who wish to trade-in can sell their old vehicle through the 'Sell My Car' service on Kia's certified pre-owned vehicle website by the day the new car is delivered.
In addition, Kia will offer 100,000 won in NAVER Pay points to customers who complete the final sale on the same day they receive a detailed quote on the Certified Used Car website throughout the month of April. The detailed quotation can be checked either through the 'in-person appraisal' method, where a specialist checks the car in person, or through the 'non-face-to-face appraisal' method, where a photo of the car is uploaded.
With a contactless appraisal, customers can quickly close a car sale without the hassle of an in-person appraisal or the stress of negotiating a price, including haggling and on-site appraisals.
"We will build a reliable used car buying service to satisfy both new and used car customers," said a Kia official, "and we will continue to strive to provide innovative customer experiences."
