GM has relaunched its integrated brand space, The House of GM, as an open space for customers.
Located on two floors near Dosan-daero in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, The House of GM is a brand space that showcases the various brands that global automaker GM is introducing to the Korean market, including Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC, under one roof.
To celebrate the domestic launch of Cadillac LYRIQ, GM transformed The House of GM into Atelier LYRIQ, a new experiential exhibition space that combines vehicle displays and art collaborations, inspired by the artistic design of LYRIQ and the creative thinking of its engineers.
The revamped House of GM will be more than just a showroom to view and test drive cars, it will also serve as a community space for visitors to enjoy and share automotive culture through GM's brands and products.
"With this renewal, The House of GM has been transformed into a space where customers can interact with GM's brands and products in a more natural way," said Myung Ok Yoon, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Communications, GM Korea. "We look forward to welcoming more customers to visit The House of GM and experience the differentiated heritage and lifestyle of GM, which is introducing a variety of brands and products in Korea."
The first floor of The House of GM has been transformed into a vehicle display area, a consultation area for vehicle purchases, and a customer lounge area where customers can relax and view vehicles, as well as test drive a variety of vehicles GM is introducing to the local market. The second floor, which is a more private space, will be utilised as an event venue for various community events as well as vehicle viewing.
The newly renovated House of GM is home to the next-generation Colorado, which went on sale to customers last month. The new Colorado is a full-change model that brings significant product enhancements to the domestic market, including interior and exterior design upgrades, as well as powertrain, comfort and safety features, which can be seen in action at The House of GM.
Meanwhile, GM will enhance its role as an engagement point for customers at the newly revamped House of GM by hosting seasonal themed test drives and community events such as RC car building and career talks with GM engineers. For more information, visit The House of GM's website and the Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac brand social channels.
In addition, GM is taking a number of initiatives this year to enhance the customer experience. GM has introduced OnStar, a global connectivity service, to Korea and applied it to new models, expanded the scope of ACDelco, a parts sales service, to domestic brands, and recently opened the Seoul Service Centre, an integrated service centre for all GM brands, to strengthen its presence in the Korean market by expanding the customer service experience.
