Renault Korea is introducing a motorhome based on its light commercial vehicle (LCV) Renault Master to customers.

The Renault Master, an iconic European van model that has become hugely popular, is being sold exclusively by Renault Korea, which secured a special batch of 700 units last month. To commemorate this limited sale, Renault Korea is displaying Renault Master-based motorhomes at select showrooms. Visitors to the Dongtan dealership in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do and Dongnae Branch in Dongnae-gu, Busan can see the Master motorhome.

The Master Motorhome will also be available to experience at the 2024 Busan Mobility Show, which will be held at BEXCO in Busan from the 28th of this month. Renault Korea will be organising the Renault Master and Master Camper experience zones together at the Renault Experience outdoor booth, which will be located outside the BEXCO 1 exhibition centre during the Busan Mobility Show, to enhance customer accessibility.

The Master vans S (Standard) and L (Large), both of which are available exclusively from Renault Korea, offer a large and spacious cargo space, making them versatile as campers and cargo vehicles. Especially among camping enthusiasts, the Master is regarded as the 'ultimate campervan' for its stylish design, versatility, and large and spacious space.

The Renault Master Van is powered by a 2.3-litre diesel twin-turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 150 hp and 39.3 kg-m of torque. With a combined fuel consumption of 11 kilometres per litre for the Master Van S and 10.5 kilometres per litre for the Master Van L, it is the most fuel-efficient in its class. The dashboard, steering wheel and gear knob are designed in the style of a passenger car, while the instrument cluster is equipped with a high-visibility cluster and a 3.5-inch TFT display, providing high levels of comfort for drivers used to driving a passenger car.

"Since we introduced the Master-based motorhome to our showrooms, we have received a great deal of interest and enthusiasm from our customers," said Jae-Sub Hwang, Executive Vice President of Sales and Networks at Renault Korea. "We expect the recently secured units to sell out quickly, so we encourage more customers to experience the Master's spaciousness and versatility first-hand."

The Renault Master, which is ideal for motorhomes due to its reasonable price and spaciousness, is priced at KRW 36.85 million for the Van S and KRW 38.45 million for the Van L, and comes with a 3-year/100,000km warranty. The warranty covers engine and powertrain parts, as well as body and general parts.
