Volvo Cars Korea Opens New Volvo Hanam Service Centre

Volvo Cars Korea has opened the new Volvo Hanam Service Centre to provide premium Swedish service to customers in the southeast Seoul area and Gyeonggi Province.

Operated by Volvo Cars Korea's authorised dealer, Kolon Automotive, the Volvo Hanam Service Centre has a total floor space of 1,903.18 sqm (approx. 576 pyeong) and is located on the main road of Hanam City, which connects to Songpa-gu in Seoul, with excellent customer accessibility. The centre is equipped with the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) concept, where customers can experience Volvo Cars' premium Swedish service.

In line with Volvo Cars' sustainability philosophy, the facility is powered by green energy from a solar canopy, and to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle charging services, the service centre car park is equipped with quick chargers (DC combo) and slow chargers (AC combo).

The new Volvo Hanam Service Centre will be able to carry out up to 450 general repairs per month, and will offer customers a personalised and premium service through Volvo Personal Service (VPS), which matches technicians with customers on a one-to-one basis. In addition, a premium customer lounge has been created for customers to wait comfortably during service hours.

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea is holding various events to celebrate the opening of the new service centre in Hanam. All customers who bring their cars to the service centre will receive a money clip (while supplies last), and customers who have paid repairs for about two months from 3 June to 31 July will be entered into a lottery to win prizes such as a Dyson hair dryer, Samsung bispoke cue, Pick By Volvo wagon and camping folding box (prizes are subject to change and end early if stocks last).

"We are opening a new service centre in Hanam to strengthen our contact with customers in the southeast region of Gyeonggi Province, including southeast Seoul, and to provide them with the premium service that Volvo Cars is known for," said Yoon Mo Lee, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea. "We will continue to invest in and expand our service network to enhance not only quantitative but also qualitative growth."
