Honda Korea successfully concludes '2024 Honda Day in Chuncheon', the opening event of the riding season

Honda Korea has successfully concluded the '2024 Honda Day in Chuncheon', the opening event of the motorcycle riding season.

Honda Day is a customer contact event that has been held in major cities across the country since 2022 to strengthen communication with customers and share Honda's unique "Fun Riding" culture. Held at the Elysian Gangchon Resort in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, the 2024 Honda Day in Chuncheon was designed to mark the start of this year's riding season with the concept of "Must Go!"

This year's event proved to be a testament to the strong interest in Honda motorcycles and the brand, with online registration closing early, with more than 600 people signing up within the first day of pre-registration. A total of 1,100 people attended the event, including on-site registrations, bringing the cumulative total of Honda Day attendees since 2022 to more than 3,500. In particular, this year's Honda Day recorded a repeat participation rate of more than 801 TP3T, making it Honda Korea's flagship customer contact event.

All participants received a limited edition Honda Day T-shirt, gym bag and vouchers for snacks and drinks. Participants also had the opportunity to test ride a variety of Honda motorcycles, including the CL500 and XL750 Transalp, which were launched last year, as well as the Rebel1100, Monkey, CT125 and CB750.

In addition, a variety of programmes that symbolise Honda Day were organised. Various participatory events such as the turtle race, Honda Necut (instant photo shoot), lucky draw, and social media events drew enthusiastic responses from customers. In addition, various motorcycle-related product brands participated as sponsors to complete the festival atmosphere.

In particular, the 'Introducing My Masterpiece' section displayed old Honda bikes owned by customers, which attracted the attention of many participants. The CD250 from the 1960s, GL1500C Valkyrie (SC34), and NSR250R SE (MC28) from the 1990s gave visitors a chance to experience the heritage and technology of Honda motorcycles.

"In line with Honda Day's reputation as a signature event for Honda Korea, Honda Day in Chuncheon 2024 was a special occasion to share our love for Honda motorcycles and passion for riding," said Lee Ji-hong, CEO of Honda Korea. "Honda Korea will continue to actively communicate with customers through various events to meet their needs and interests."
