Lamborghini has posted its best ever results in the first half of 2024 in terms of deliveries, revenue and operating profit. This was thanks to the success of the entire Revuelto, Urus and Huracan line-up, all of which are produced at the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory in Italy. Deliveries totalled 5,558 units, generating revenues of €1.621bn (£2.43bn), with operating profit of €458m (£69bn), up 14.11 TP3T on the same period in 2023. Profitability stood at 28.21 TP3T, demonstrating the success of our customer demand, balanced production and delivery volumes, and financial strategy.
By continent, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) continued to deliver a balanced supply with 2,498 units, followed by the Americas with 1,849 units and Asia Pacific with 1,211 units. By country, the US remained the leader with 1,621 units, followed by Germany (595 units), the UK (514 units), Japan (354 units), China, Hong Kong & Macau (337 units), Italy (268 units), and the South Korean market, which ranked eighth in the first half with 195 units per KAIDA.
The Revuelto, the brand's first V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, launched last year, has already secured two years' worth of contracts, laying a solid foundation for the brand's continued growth. In addition, the Uracán has already received orders for the entire production run before its expected end of life in December this year. The Urus SE, which made its world premiere at the Volkswagen Group Media Night in Beijing, China, at the end of April, has also been warmly received by customers and has already secured approximately one year's worth of contracts.
This achievement underscores Lamborghini's ongoing commitment to carbon neutrality and demonstrates the success of its electrification roadmap, Direzione Cor Tauri (Towards the Heart of Taurus), first announced in 2021. On 16 August, the company will unveil the successor to the Uracán, codenamed Lamborghini 634, at Monterey Car Week, the same venue where it presented the concept car Lanzador, whose technical specifications were revealed in May. The Lamborghini 634 is a new HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle) super sports car that completes Lamborghini's hybridisation process. The hybrid system combines a completely redesigned V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors to deliver a peak power output of 800 hp and a maximum torque of 74.4 kg-m.
