Bentley Motors Appoints Frank-Steffen Balliser as New CEO

Bentley Motors has appointed Frank-Steffen Walliser, formerly of Porsche, as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July.

Franck-Steffen Balliser is a mechanical engineer by training and has been with Porsche since 1995, where he has risen through the ranks of technical management. In 2010, he was project leader for the development of the Porsche 918 Spyder, and since then he has been Head of Motorsport, Head of the 911 and 718 line-ups and, from 2022, Head of Development for the entire Porsche range.

"The ongoing transformation of the automotive industry is a significant challenge for Bentley, and we will continue to set new standards in the luxury segment."

"Franck-Steffen Walzer is an outstanding engineer and technologist and brings with him a wealth of experience from his time at Porsche, where he developed key models such as the 918 Spyder," said Gernot Döllner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG, who is responsible for Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley and Ducati within the Volkswagen Group. "His many years of experience and knowledge will be invaluable to Bentley as we move towards leadership in the luxury segment."
