Audi Korea will be hosting a number of customer engagement events to celebrate the Audi Summer Tour 2024, including the Audi Summer Tour Lounge, FC Bayern player fan meetings, and an Audi Fan Zone at the Seoul World Cup Stadium where the Coupang Play Series will be held.
The Audi Summer Tour is a pre-season marketing tour and training camp that Audi has organised annually with FC Bayern since 2014 and is now in its ninth year. For the Audi Summer Tour 2024, FC Bayern will be travelling to South Korea for the first time and will face English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in a friendly match in the 2024 Coupang Play Series.
To celebrate the Audi Summer Tour 2024, Audi Korea will host the Audi Summer Tour Lounge at the South Atrium, L3, IFC Mall, Yeouido, from 2 to 4 August. The Audi Summer Tour Lounge will showcase three Audi electric vehicles, including the Q8 e-tron FC Bayern concept, which features the new seasonal jersey design of the FC Bayern team visiting Korea on the Audi Summer Tour, and the Q4 e-tron.
In addition, there will be various programmes for customers visiting the site, including social media photo events, OX quizzes related to the Audi Summer Tour, and test drives and consultations for various vehicles. Customers who participate in the on-site event will receive various gifts from Audi Korea such as Audi×FC Bayern mufflers, Audi Summer Tour tarpaulin bags, car air fresheners, phone straps, and sticker packs through raffles and quizzes.
Fans will also be able to meet FC Bayern players in person. The 'Audi Summer Tour 2024 FC Bayern Fan Meeting' will take place on 2 August at the Audi Summer Tour Lounge at IFC Mall in Yeouido. Forty customers will be selected from among those who participated in online events and test drives on Audi Korea's social media, and will have the opportunity to meet three FC Bayern players in person.
The fan meeting will feature a programme of talks with FC Bayern players, the unveiling of the specially-wrapped Audi Q8 e-tron FC Bayern concept and an autograph session, as well as a variety of pre-meeting and support events with FC Bayern fans at the venue.
In addition, the Audi Fan Zone will be open from 2 to 3 August at the north plaza of the Seoul World Cup Stadium, where the Coupang Play Series will be held. Football fans will be able to meet the specially wrapped Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern concept and Q8 e-tron at the Fan Zone, as well as enjoy various on-site engagement events such as social media photo opportunities and stopwatch games.
Customers who participate in the social media photo event on both days will be entered into a draw to win souvenirs such as an Audi x FC Bayern muffler, an Audi x FC Bayern tarpaulin bag, tattoo stickers and supporters' paraphernalia, while those who attend the game on 3 August in the Audi Fan Zone will be entered into a draw to win an autographed ball signed by FC Bayern players, a jersey, an Audi x FC Bayern muffler and more.
To celebrate the launch of the Q8 e-tron in conjunction with the Audi Summer Tour 2024, Audi Korea is offering door entry LED lights with the Audi logo and FC Bayern logo for all Q8 e-tron customers (limited time only).
In addition to this, Audi Korea is conducting various marketing activities for customers through Audi dealerships and social media channels to commemorate the Audi Summer Tour 2024, and will continue to introduce various proactive marketing activities so that more customers can experience the value of the Audi brand and the features of its products.
