Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea to sponsor national athletes at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea has signed a business agreement with the Korean Para Sports Federation to sponsor the national team competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Global Toyota Motor Corporation has been the main sponsor of the International Olympic Committee and International Paralympic Committee since 2015. The global tagline "Start Your Impossible" campaign is inspired by sportsmanship, pushing the boundaries and challenging the impossible. In the same vein, Toyota Motor Corporation has continued to support the promotion of sports for the disabled and the improvement of athletes' skills, starting with its sponsorship of the Korea Para Table Tennis Association in 2017 and signing a business agreement with the Korea Para Sports Federation last year.

The signing ceremony was attended by Manabu Konyama, President of Toyota Motor Corporation, and Chung Jin-wan, President of the Korean Para Sports Federation, who delivered a message of encouragement to the athletes training for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Through this agreement, Toyota Motor Corporation will provide a variety of support benefits, including items for the athletes representing Korea at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

"Our sponsorship of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is a way to further promote Toyota's value of 'Mobility for All'," said Manabu Konyama, President of Toyota Motor Corporation. "Together with the Korea Paralympic Committee, we will continue to support athletes with disabilities to improve their performance and encourage the spirit of sportsmanship."

In addition to sponsorship agreements to support disabled athletes in their endless challenges, Toyota Motor Corporation is also making steady efforts to be a good corporate citizen in Korea, not only through vehicle sales and service, but also through various human resource development programmes and environmental contributions.
