BMW Korea Future Foundation launches university student supporters 'Future Heroes' and holds inaugural induction ceremony

The BMW Korea Future Foundation has launched a new group of university student supporters, the Future Heroes, and held the inaugural launch ceremony at State Tower Namsan, located in Jung-gu, Seoul, on 16 November.

Future Heroes are university student supporters who promote the various social contribution activities of the BMW Korea Future Foundation and share the value and importance of a sustainable future with future talents. In March, the BMW Korea Future Foundation recruited participants from current and former students at four-year universities in Korea who are interested in social values such as CSR and ESG, and finally selected the first batch of 12 supporters through a screening process.

The first batch of Future Heroes will work individually or in teams for eight months from April to December, and will be tasked with planning and producing various contents related to public interest such as environmental protection. In addition, they will participate in the Young Talent Dream Project, the representative purpose of the BMW Korea Future Foundation, the Junior Campus, and the Next Green To-Go to gain hands-on experience and plan and produce promotional content.

The content created through the supporters' activities will be posted on the official Naver blog and Instagram of the BMW Korea Future Foundation.

The BMW Korea Future Foundation will provide a small monthly activity fee to facilitate the smooth running of the programme and enable participants to collaborate. During the activity period, participants will have the opportunity to attend special lectures by experts in the field of personal development and career enhancement, and a certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the activity.

"Future Heroes is not only about introducing the activities of the BMW Korea Future Foundation, but also about sharing the results of the students' efforts for a better future," said Heung-beom Ko, Secretary General of the BMW Korea Future Foundation. "We look forward to the active and creative supporters of the first batch of students who attended the launch."
