Honda Korea Officially Opens Honda Mobility Cafe 'the go' in Bundang

Honda Korea will officially open its new concept mobility café, 'the go', on the 27th of this month with an official opening ceremony.

The Go is the first Honda brand-exclusive experience space in the Asia-Pacific region and the first of its kind in Korea, and is a hybrid café, test drive, and cultural experience space spanning approximately 200 square metres. Customers can test drive major models of Honda cars and motorcycles under the guidance of expert Honda curators, and enjoy a differentiated experience with a comfortable, customer-centric interior and a variety of services including high-quality coffee and desserts.

The Go is a local community space for all ages, not just Honda customers, to visit and enjoy a coffee menu made by expert baristas using the finest speciality beans, as well as unique drinks and desserts that can only be found at The Go. Various cultural programmes will also be held in the future to promote local exchange.

Each floor showcases the latest key models of Honda cars and motorcycles for a natural product experience. Customers who wish to test drive a car can book in advance via Honda's online platform and then take it for a spin in The GOMAN's unique test drive centre, guided by a Honda curator.

It is located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, with easy access to Seoul, and is close to Exit 5 of Jeongja Station, where the Shinjindang Line and Suinbundang Line pass, making it easy and convenient for customers of all ages.

The "go" in the go is a nod to Honda's identity as a mobility brand and the joy of everyday mobility. The logo of THE GO is symbolised by the shape of the road and the wheels of Honda mobility, specifically cars and motorcycles.

"As a pioneer in digital business solutions, Honda Korea launched online sales last year, and now we are establishing the first experience centre in Asia and Oceania as a place where customers can experience the Honda brand more closely," said Toshio Kuwahara, President and CEO of Honda Asia and Oceania, who attended the opening ceremony on the 27th to celebrate the opening of Honda Mobility Café The Go. "By listening to the voices of our customers, we will be able to come up with innovative ideas that can be incorporated into the models and services we sell in Korea, and at the same time, we expect it to be a place for differentiated customer experiences."

Meanwhile, Honda Korea is holding a social media event to celebrate the opening of The Go from 1 May to 19 May. During the event, customers who purchase a beverage made at The Go and post a photo on their personal social media will be eligible to win special prizes.
