The 2025 Lexus UX 300h is here, priced from £52.4 million

Lexus Korea launches the 2025 UX 300h with a fifth-generation hybrid system and goes on sale.

The new 2025 UX 300h replaces the outgoing UX 250h and is equipped with a fifth-generation hybrid system that delivers higher power and superior driving performance. In addition, it has been upgraded with safety features and various convenience features to ensure passenger safety and driving comfort.

The 2025 UX 300h combines performance and fuel economy with a fifth-generation hybrid system featuring a lithium-ion battery, high-output motor and lightweight transaxle. A highly efficient in-line four-cylinder 2.0L petrol engine optimised for hybrid systems, combined with a high-output motor that delivers powerful torque, delivers a total system output of 199 hp and a government-certified fuel economy of 18 km/L (combined).

The 2025 UX 300h features a new brake system, AHB-G, which suppresses heterogeneity during regenerative braking and provides smooth braking and excellent pedal feel. The vehicle braking attitude control function independently distributes braking force to the front and rear to maintain the vehicle's stable attitude for comfortable driving.

Body rigidity has also been enhanced with additional reinforcements between the front and rear body compartments and increased suspension clamping torque, which in turn improves handling stability and steering response. The UX 300h also features a shift knob with Shift-by-Wire, an electronic transmission system that provides quicker and better control when shifting.

It is also equipped with a range of amenities, including Lexus Connect, Lexus 10-speaker premium sound, Lexus Climate Concierge and a hands-free power rear door. Lexus Safety System+, which utilises sensors in the BSM to detect and warn of the approach of a bicycle or motorbike from behind when exiting the vehicle, has been further enhanced with the addition of Safe Exit Assist (SEA), Road Sign Assist (RSA) and Active Driving Assist (PDA).

The design of the all-new 2025 UX 300h is both spectacular and dynamic, with the compressed proportions of an entry crossover ideal for city driving, creating different impressions depending on the angle from which you view it. At the front, a strong, ornate spindle grille and iconic headlamp design emphasise the Lexus identity, while at the rear, the rear fenders and rear spoiler extend outward from the body to express the crossover's dynamism.

The interior features a human-centred interior design that emphasises the unity between the occupants and the car through the 'Cross-Create' concept. The instrument panel structure wraps around the driver, and the smart layout with intuitive controls that allow the driver to focus on driving makes for a safe and enjoyable driving experience.

The UX 300h F SPORT model will also be available. The exterior design visualises the driving performance of the F SPORT, including the F SPORT-exclusive vertical mesh pattern spindle grille and jet black plating. The interior is distinguished by F SPORT-specific seats and a 12.3-inch fully graphic instrument cluster with three multi-information displays that simultaneously display a variety of information and change the instrument cluster design depending on the driving mode (Eco, Sport, Sport+, Normal).

It also features a Performance Damper that ensures torsional rigidity and contributes to stable handling in corners, and an Adaptive Variable Suspension system that adjusts ride comfort differently depending on the drive mode to actively support a stable ride on uneven road surfaces.

In addition, F-Sport Paddle Shift, which maximises driving enjoyment by providing appropriate feedback and responsive handling while driving, Active Sound Control, which allows the driver to feel virtual engine sounds inside the cabin as the car accelerates, and Sport S+ mode, which optimises the hybrid system and transmission controls for sporty driving.

The 2025 UX 300h will be available in two trims, 2WD and F SPORT, with a suggested retail price of KRW 52.4 million for the UX 300h 2WD and KRW 58.7 million for the UX 300h F SPORT (including VAT).

"The all-new 2025 UX 300h features a youthful and dynamic design, enhanced driving performance and a new hybrid system that is unique to Lexus," said Dae-Hwan Kang, Vice President of Lexus Korea.
