Jeep launches Gladiator Army Star package limited to 30 units in Korea

Jeep is introducing the Gladiator Army Star package, a military-themed vehicle, limited to 30 units in Korea.

The Gladiator Army Star Package is a military-inspired reinterpretation of the World War II-era military vehicle that marks the beginning of Jeep's history. The Gladiator Rubicon in Granite Crystal Metallic comes with a star-shaped decal, four accessories and three merchandise items, totalling a value of KRW 3 million. The price remains the same as the original Gladiator Rubicon at $79.9 million.

The Army Star Package is highlighted by rough-textured decals on the hood and both door sills that feature the starburst symbolising Jeep's heritage and history. A matte satin black grille, a genuine Jeep accessory, completes the rugged and tough look. Additional accessories include auto power side steps, stainless steel door sill guards and grab handles on all seats for increased safety and comfort. Adding to the collector's value is a merchandise package that includes a Swiss Army knife, Jeep Military Banqueting Set, and Military ID tag (military lanyard) that showcases the Jeep's military roots.

The Gladiator Rubicon, the base of the Army Star package, is a pickup truck that builds on Jeep's rich heritage of unrivalled 4×4 capability. Powered by a V6 3.6L petrol PENTASTAR® engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, it delivers 284 hp and 36 lb-ft of peak torque and offers a spacious 1,005-litre cargo capacity. Rock-Trac® full-time 4WD, Tru-Lok® front and rear limited-slip differential locks, an electronic front sway bar disconnect, and Off-Road Plus mode give this off-road pickup the off-road capability it deserves.

"The Gladiator Army Star package is a reflection of the brand's history, which began on the battlefields of the past, and is designed for enthusiasts who love Jeep's heritage," said Mr. Vangsil Bangsil, Managing Director of Stellantis Korea.

Gladiator models with the Army Star package will be on display at 14 showrooms nationwide from 9 September in Seoul (Cheongdam, Gangseo, Seocho), Gyeonggi Province (Bundang, Anyang, Suwon, Dongtan, Ilsan, Uijeongbu), Chungcheong Province (Daejeon, Cheonan) to Incheon, Wonju and Jeju, and inquiries about the specially packaged models can be made at Jeep showrooms nationwide.
