Renault Korea launches 700 Master special offer

Renault Korea has secured a special allocation of 700 units of the hugely popular Master in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market and is launching a limited run.

Master is Renault's best-selling light commercial vehicle in the European van market, with global sales exceeding 3 million units. Its tailor-made design and top quality for commercial drivers have made it the mobile workplace of choice for commercial drivers in Europe and around the world, and a commercial vehicle optimised for all road conditions.

It was officially launched in the Korean market in 2018 and is currently on sale as a facelifted model with upgraded interior and exterior design and convenience features. The Master has gained great popularity due to its stylish design and safety, ergonomic user experience, optimised space configuration for cargo operations, and proven powertrain, which were not available in existing domestic light vehicles. However, since last year, it has been experiencing difficulties due to a shortage of vehicles and a backlog of customers waiting for delivery.

The Master Van S (Standard) and Master Van L (Large) are the two models that Renault Korea has secured a special batch of 700 units and started limited sales. With a length of 5,075/5,575 mm, a height of 2,300/2,500 mm and a cargo space of 8.0㎥/10.8㎥, respectively, these vans are large and spacious, and can be used not only for general cargo but also as campers.

The Master's in-line 4-cylinder 2.3L diesel twin-turbo engine produces a peak power output of 150 hp and a maximum torque of 39.3 kg-m. The Master Van S achieves a combined fuel consumption of 11 kilometres per litre and the Master Van L achieves 10.5 kilometres per litre, making it the most fuel-efficient in its class. It also comes with a standard crosswind compensation function, which minimises the risk of instant lane departure due to strong side winds, ensuring stability when driving straight at high speeds.

"We would like to thank our customers for their patience in waiting for the Renault Master," said Jae-Sub Hwang, Executive Vice President, Sales and Networks, Renault Korea. "We invite them to experience first-hand the Master's cargo space, which is high enough for an adult man to walk around comfortably, with a very low ground clearance (height from floor to load bay), making it extremely versatile for a wide range of businesses."

The Master is priced at KRW 36.85 million for the Van S and KRW 38.45 million for the Van L, and comes with a 3-year/100,000km warranty. The warranty covers engine and powertrain components, as well as body and general parts. For more information, please visit your nearest Renault Korea dealership.
