Porsche Korea officially launches the new Cayenne E-Hybrid in Korea

Porsche Korea will officially launch the third-generation all-new Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe in Korea today.

Powered by a V6 3.0L petrol turbocharged engine, the new Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe feature a new electric motor with 176 hp (130 kW), an increase of 30 hp compared to the previous model, for a total of 470 hp. Both models accelerate from 0-62mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds and have a top speed of 254 km/h.

The high-voltage battery, whose total capacity has been increased from 17.9 kilowatt-hours to 25.9 kilowatt-hours, enables an all-electric range of up to 90 kilometres on the WLTP, depending on the equipment level. The new 11-kilowatt on-board charger reduces charging time to less than two and a half hours, despite the increased battery capacity, under optimal charging conditions.

The new adaptive air suspension with two-chamber, two-valve technology further enhances the driving experience. Compared to the previous model, the softer suspension stabilises the body, improving driving precision and performance and reducing body movements in dynamic driving situations. The suspension clearly differentiates between Normal, Sport and Sport Plus driving modes.

Inside, all of the Cayenne's innovations remain. These include a curved, freestanding instrument cluster with variable display options, a redesigned centre console and an optional passenger display.

The aggressive impression is created by sophisticated design and innovative lighting technology. A new front end combined with stronger-looking arched wings, a new bonnet and technologically enhanced headlights emphasise the car's full width, while a new rear apron with three-dimensional taillights, clean surfaces and a licence plate holder complete the rear end design.

Matrix LED headlights are standard, and new high-resolution HD Matrix LED headlights are available as an option, one of the most significant upgrades to the new Cayenne.

The new Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe are priced at $145.4 million and $148.5 million, respectively, including VAT. The coupe version will be available in two variants, with four and five seats.
