Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea Launches Lexus-Toyota Care Programme

Building on its pride in quality, Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea is launching the Lexus-Toyota Care Programme, which extends the warranty period for major engine and powertrain components on Lexus and Toyota brand vehicles during routine maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.

The new Lexus-Toyota Care Programme will provide an additional one-year or 20,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty on major engine and powertrain components for vehicles that have been regularly inspected by an authorised Lexus-Toyota service centre and are in good condition.

The programme is available to Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea's officially manufactured models, which are covered for up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) from the date of manufacture, provided they are serviced annually at a Lexus-Toyota authorised service centre, even after the end of the additional one-year or 20,000km warranty period under the Lexus-Toyota Care programme.

Considering that the general warranty period for Lexus and Toyota brands is 4 years and 3 years, respectively (both within 100,000 km), customers can enjoy more peace of mind by having their cars inspected annually and having the warranty period extended by 2.5 to 3 times if there are no abnormalities. However, sports cars and electric vehicles are not eligible for the Lexus-Toyota Care programme, even if they are officially manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea.

To make it easier for customers to access the Lexus-Toyota brand's warranty programmes, Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea offers a warranty expiry reminder service through its customer apps "Lexus Lounge" and "Yo! Toyota" to help customers check the terms, conditions and regulations of the Lexus-Toyota Care Programme, items covered under the programme, and to remind them to check their vehicles regularly and rejoin the programme.
