Kia has released the first teaser images and video of The Kia EV3 (EV3), a vehicle that will lead the way in democratising electric vehicles, on Tuesday (7 July).

The EV3 is Kia's third dedicated EV model, following the EV6, the company's first E-GMP-based electric vehicle, and the EV9, its large, electrified flagship SUV. The EV3 is a compact SUV EV that will help democratise electric vehicles, expand the EV line-up and deliver a new customer experience in the era of electrified mobility.
Based on Kia's unique design philosophy of 'Opposites United', the EV3 combines a strong, geometric design with a distinctive feel. At the front, the futuristic Star Map signature lighting and vertical headlamps create a strong and bold impression.
At the side, the low, elongated and dynamic roofline blends with the bodywork to create a futuristic look. At the rear, the voluminous tailgate design creates a sense of spaciousness, while the windswept taillamps add dynamism.
Kia has also released a teaser video to accompany the teaser images, revealing the EV3's sensational silhouette that highlights its futuristic design elements.
Kia unveiled the EV3 concept car at last year's Kia EV DAY, which garnered much attention in the global market. Kia will unveil the EV3's design and product details in an online world premiere video on the 23rd of this month.
