Kia released teaser images and a video of the new K8 on Monday (29th). The new K8 is Kia's first product enhancement to the K8 in three years.
The K8, launched in April 2021, is the first model to showcase Kia's new direction. With its innovative design, reliable driving performance, and advanced driver assistance systems, it has been loved by many customers, with cumulative sales of more than 130,000 units in the domestic market through June.
In a teaser image today, Kia gave us a glimpse of what The New K8 will look like, centred on the lighting at the front and rear of the car.
At the front, the daytime running lights (DRLs), which reflect Kia's new Star Map Signature Lighting, are visually connected to the centre positioning lamps that run along the top of the bumper, creating a more refined and premium feel.
The teaser video, released today on Kia's official YouTube channel, KiaTV (www.youtube.com/@KiaKorea), sensually captures the new design language of The New K8, showing the starburst shape of the night sky transitioning into vertical headlamps.
Kia will unveil and launch the new K8 in August with more details on its design, specifications and pricing.
