GS Global is running an August promotion for customers who purchase BYD's T4K 1-tonne electric truck. With this promotion, GS Global is trying to break through the electric vehicle chaos (temporary slowdown in demand) and electric vehicle phobia due to fires by offering unconventional benefits.
Firstly, GS Global will expand its own subsidy support, which is available to all T4K customers. GS Global currently offers its own subsidy support, which covers the shortfall in subsidies from the previous year, including national subsidies, local subsidies, and small business subsidies. In addition to the self-subsidy support, an additional KRW 400,000 will be provided for cargo trucks, and KRW 120,000 will be provided for small businesses, for a total of KRW 520,000 in self-subsidy support.
In addition, to reduce the purchase burden for customers purchasing the '23 model, GS Global will offer an exceptional stock purchase support benefit of KRW 9 million. With this benefit, the actual purchase price of the T4K will be KRW 19.71 million, including KRW 6.3 million in national and local government subsidies, KRW 1.38 million in support for small businesses, KRW 12.94 million in GS Global's own subsidies, and KRW 9 million in purchase support for the 23-year model. In Geochang, Gyeongnam, where the subsidy benefits are the largest, the purchase price is around 12.74 million won, making it available in the low 10 million won range.
In addition, to commemorate the launch of the T4K refrigerated truck, all customers who purchase the T4K refrigerated truck will receive KRW 4 million in benefits. The T4K is an 'auxiliary battery-free' refrigerated tower car that does not require an auxiliary battery as it directly connects the refrigeration compressor to a high-voltage battery and does not generate emissions, as the V2L (Vehicle to Load) function unifies the power of the freezer and the car for easy charging. With this offer, customers can purchase a T4K refrigerated tower car for KRW 39.25 million (August) in Seoul. All offers are based on customers who ordered in August, and for more information, please contact your nearest T4K showroom.
In addition to this, T4K in-cab internet and Wi-Fi services are provided free of charge for three years and a router for mobile network services is fitted as standard. In addition, the existing 8-year or 120,000 kilometres battery warranty will be extended to 8 years or 150,000 kilometres, and customers who purchase a refrigerated top will continue to receive a free spoiler.
The T4K is an electric truck developed by GS Global in collaboration with BYD to meet the needs of Korean consumers, offering the highest level of practicality and convenience among 1-tonne trucks in Korea. In particular, it has excellent thermal stability through BYD's LFP blade battery, which has a significantly lower thermal runaway phenomenon. In addition, the V2L (Vehicle to Load) function, which supplies electricity to the outside, enables various types of features.
GS Global has taken extraordinary measures in response to the proposed revision of electric vehicle subsidies, offering its own subsidies to all customers, greatly easing the burden on customers. Through this, we are showing a strong commitment to continue to promote eco-friendly trucks without passing on the burden to consumers even under difficult circumstances.
"As the anxiety about electric vehicles is growing, we have prepared a special promotion for customers to experience LFP Battery's T4K, which is relatively safe from fire, without any risk," said a representative from GS Global's Mobility Division. "Along with this special offer, GS Global will continue to provide benefits and services to reach out to customers."
