BMW Group Korea launches special support programme for customers affected by flooding

BMW Group Korea is launching the BMW-MINI Flooded Car Special Care Programme to support customers whose vehicles have been flooded during the rainy season.

The special care programme, which will be available at BMW and MINI Authorised Service Centres nationwide until 30 September, is designed to help customers whose vehicles have been flooded by torrential downpours to have their cars repaired quickly and effectively.

First, we will provide a free inspection service for flooded cars during the programme period. If the repair cost exceeds the insurance coverage after the inspection, we will support the excess amount, and for customers who repair the car with their own insurance, we will support up to 500,000 won ($500,000) of out-of-pocket expenses (deductible) to reduce the cost burden on customers.

BMW Group Korea is also offering a range of mobility services to help customers get around without inconvenience. The company will provide a loaner car service for up to 14 days while repairs are carried out, and a delivery service that will deliver the car to the customer's home after the repairs are completed to maximise customer convenience.
