BMW Ladies' Championship 2024 opens its doors to the gallery

Tickets are now on sale for the BMW Ladies Championship 2024, the only LPGA event in Korea to be held at Seowon Valley CC in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, from 17 to 20 October.

The BMW Ladies Championship is returning to the Capital Region for the second year in a row and is expected to attract a large number of golf fans thanks to its easy accessibility. In particular, interest in the tournament is already high as it is the only event in Korea where fans can watch the world's top players and Paris Olympic medallists play under one roof, something that is rarely seen in Korea.

Tickets for the BMW Ladies' Championship 2024 Gallery can be purchased via the BMW Vantage application, a personalised lifestyle platform. BMW Vantage is a mobile service that offers integrated lifestyle benefits across mobility, travel, culture and more, and tickets for the tournament can be paid for with BMW Coins, which can be used like cash. The app will also provide easy access to tournament and event information throughout the tournament.

Ticket purchases will be eligible for early bird promotional offers depending on the sales period. During the first early bird period, from 1 August to 15 August, all ticket types (weekday, weekend and all-day) will receive a discount of up to 30%, depending on the BMW Vantage membership tier. The second early bird period, from 16 August to 31 August, will offer discounts of up to 25%, before going on sale at full price from 1 September for the duration of the event.

In addition, there will be two ticket categories, 'BMW Excellence Class Package' and 'General Admission', to match the services on offer. The BMW Excellence Class ticket holders will be able to enjoy the BMW Excellence Lounge, located on the 18th green, with special catering services, as well as a range of luxury hospitality services, including a separate VIP car park and a shopper service using the BMW M ultra-high performance SAV model XM.

There will also be plenty of activities for the public to enjoy. The Gallery Plaza will be transformed into an Oktoberfest-style festival with beer, sausages and other food and drink, as well as a display area featuring a range of luxury premium models from BMW.

"The BMW Ladies Championship 2024, now in its fifth year, will build on our know-how to further enhance the viewing experience for galleries visiting the tournament," said Sangyoon Han, CEO of BMW Korea. "We look forward to seeing the star-studded field of competitors as the only LPGA tournament in Korea."

The $2.2 million, four-day, 72-hole stroke play event will feature a field of 76 players, including 68 top LPGA Tour players and eight special invitees, and for the second year in a row, the tournament will also include two amateur players nominated by the Korea Golf Association (KGA) to help foster golfing dreams.

In addition, the strategy is to make the event the best ESG event in the world through various social contribution activities such as green campaigns with local communities, a zero-waste event declaration to minimise paper use throughout the event, eco-friendly vehicle displays and protocols, and donation events to the BMW Korea Future Foundation.

Meanwhile, BMW Financial Services Korea will offer two one-day tickets to either the third or fourth round of the BMW Ladies Championship 2024 to all customers who purchase a BMW flagship model - 7 Series, i7, 8 Series, X7 or XM - with a BMW Financial Services finance product during the month of August.
