BMW's new 4 Series launches in Korea, priced from £73.2 million

BMW Korea officially launches the new 4 Series Coupé and Convertible in Korea. The 4 Series combines dynamic driving pleasure with elegant design and has established a unique position in the premium mid-size coupé and convertible market in Korea.

The new 4 Series Coupé and Convertible have undergone a partial facelift and now feature a more dynamic and distinctive exterior design and an interior with modern touches and the latest features to create a progressive and luxurious ambience. This is complemented by an advanced infotainment system based on BMW OS 8.5 and a range of convenience features to provide drivers with the best possible driving experience.

The new 4 Series Coupé and Convertible feature LED headlights with newly designed daytime running lights and a wide, three-dimensional front bumper for a sportier look. At the rear, the dynamism is emphasised by the eye-catching laser rear lights, increased diameter exhaust pipes and black high-gloss rear diffuser. The laser rear lights are standard on all coupé and convertible models except the new 420i Convertible M Sport trim.

Inside, the BMW Curved Display with 12.3-inch information display and 14.9-inch control display, a new D-cut steering wheel and sports seats give the cabin a sporty feel. In addition, the instrument panels in Sensatec material and the Illuminated Air Vents with subtle ambient lighting around the centre air vents transform the cabin into a stylish and sophisticated space.

All internal combustion engine models are available with 48V mild hybrid technology. The 48-volt battery and electric motor provide additional power during acceleration for increased responsiveness and improved efficiency by reducing the load on the engine.

Under the bonnet is a straight-four 2.0-litre petrol turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 190 hp and 31.6 kg-m of torque, mated to an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Acceleration times from rest to 100 kilometres per hour are 7.5 seconds for the New 420i Coupé and 8.2 seconds for the New 420i Convertible.

In addition, the 'M Sport Pro Package' on the new 420i Coupé and Convertible comes as standard with Adaptive M Suspension, which adjusts the suspension characteristics to suit the driving conditions.

The new 4 Series is equipped with the latest operating system, BMW Operating System 8.5, which offers a new and convenient user experience. The intuitively organised 'QuickSelect' function enables quick and easy use of the infotainment system without having to navigate through sub-menus.

A menu bar was placed at the bottom of the control display for instant access to key functions, and live widgets were configured to easily call up the necessary information by swiping up, down, left and right. The cloud-based BMW Navigation features an augmented reality view to help you find your way around even the most complex roads.

In addition, Driving Assistant Professional with Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Collision & Pre-Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and more is standard on all trims, providing superior driving safety and convenience. A range of features including Park Assist and Reverse Assist are available as standard or plus depending on trim.

The New 420i Coupe is available in a single trim with the M Sport Pro Package, priced at $73.2 million. The New 420i Convertible is priced at £74.8 million with the M Sport Package and £79 million with the M Sport Pro Package, depending on trim.
