For the third consecutive year, BMW will be the official partner of the 77th Cannes Film Festival, which is taking place in Cannes, France, until 25 May.
BMW has teamed up with British supermodel Naomi Campbell for the world premiere of the BMW XM Mystique Allure, a one-off model, at the Cannes Film Festival. The XM Mystique Allure is inspired by the attributes shared by XM and Naomi Campbell, such as a constant pioneering spirit and the ability to project confidence and balance.
In addition, BMW will operate more than 200 motorcades for the stars and dignitaries attending the Cannes Film Festival. This year, BMW will introduce a range of electrified models, including the XM, an ultra-high performance SAV model exclusively for M, the luxury flagship sedan i7, the premium all-electric sedan i5, and the technology flagship iX, to provide premium mobility with minimal emissions.
Now in its 77th year, the Cannes Film Festival is considered one of the world's top three film festivals and attracts a large number of filmmakers, industry insiders, actors and film lovers from around the world. BMW, an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, had the world premiere of its own short film, The Calm, at the festival last year.
