Hyundai Motor Company is set to launch the 2025 Grandeur on Wednesday (5 May), marking the launch of the model's refreshed model year.
The latest intelligent safety feature, Lane Keeping Assist (LFA) 2, is standard on all trims of the 2025 Grandeur. Lane Keep Assist 2 is a driving comfort feature that improves the ability to stay centred in the lane compared to the existing Lane Keep Assist feature by enlarging the operating area of the front camera and enhancing steering control.
In addition, the company added a new 'Black Exterior Package' that allows customers to select some exterior elements in black, such as the black grille and black emblems, and made the highly popular 'Steering Wheel Grip Detection' specification standard on all trims to enhance product competitiveness (the Black Exterior Package is only available on the Calligraphy trim).
In addition, the coverage of OTA (over-the-air software updates) for existing controllers has been expanded to include climate control, so that vehicles are always kept up to date with the latest specifications, and product improvements have been made to ensure customer safety, such as the standardisation of the vibration warning function in the R gear of column gears and the installation of an interior fire extinguisher.
In addition, new features such as ▲ Lane Keeping Assist 2 ▲ Steering Wheel Grip Detection System ▲ Trunk Reed Light ▲ Rear Seat Belt Light ▲ Interior Fire Extinguisher ▲ Electronic Shift Column Vibration Warning function ▲ etc. have been included as standard, and the starting price increase has been minimised to 250,000 won.
The Calligraphy trim, in particular, has seen a price increase of KRW 830,000, despite the addition of a head-up display worth KRW 999,000 and new features such as new patterned Nappa leather seats.
The 2025 Granger is priced at $37.68 million for the 2.5 petrol, $42.58 million for the Premium, $42.58 million for the Exclusive and $47.21 million for the Calligraphy, while the 3.5 petrol is priced at $40.15 million for the Premium, $45.05 million for the Exclusive and $49.68 million for the Calligraphy.
The hybrid models are priced at KRW 42,291,000 (Premium), KRW 47,781,000 (Exclusive) and KRW 52,244,000 (Calligraphy), including hybrid tax incentives.
To celebrate the launch of the 2025 Grandeur, Hyundai has prepared a 'Body Care Free Subscription Event' for customers who sign a new contract for the Grandeur this month and take delivery of the vehicle in September, which guarantees repair or replacement of exterior damage that occurs within one year or 20,000 km within the coverage limit per part (body up to KRW 1.3 million, windshield up to KRW 800,000, tyres up to KRW 350,000, whichever comes first).
"We have prepared the 2025 Grandeur based on specification improvements that incorporate the voices of our customers and enhance its productivity," said a Hyundai Motor official. "With the know-how and technology of the Grandeur brand, which we have accumulated for nearly 40 years, we will continue to meet the great expectations of the market."
Meanwhile, the Granger continues to be the best-selling car in the domestic passenger car market, with 113,047 units sold last year.
