Kia is launching 'The Kia Tasman' design competition, inviting people to create an artistic camouflage for the brand's first pick-up, the Tasman. The competition will challenge and inspire participants to design their own camouflage for the Tasman using art materials and digital drawing tools.
Kia has organised the competition to celebrate Family Month and encourage the whole family to get involved, create fun memories and experience Tasman. The name Tasman comes from the inspirational island of Tasmania, Australia's southernmost state, and the Tasman Strait, and last month we unveiled an exclusive camouflage model of the Tasman, which features organic and bold patterns inspired by the wild beauty of the Australian landscape.
Families or individuals who wish to enter the competition can do so by downloading the Tasman camouflage shield design from Kia's official website and Instagram and uploading it to their account, including the required hashtag.
The contest is open from Friday, 3 May to Friday, 31 May, and the winners will be announced on Monday, 10 June on the event page on Kia's website and via direct message (DM) on Instagram. The winners of the contest will receive cash prizes, iPads, hotel and dining vouchers, department store gift certificates, and other prizes.
"We have prepared a special event for Family Month for our customers who have been enthusiastic about the Tasman since its launch," said a Kia representative. "We hope they will enjoy the contest and win gifts and memories with their families."
Meanwhile, Kia plans to introduce the mid-size pickup Tasman in the domestic and global markets starting in 2025 to meet the needs of customers in the domestic market, where the family leisure culture centred on outdoor activities is spreading.
