Lexus Korea has officially launched its flagship MPV, The All-New LM 500h, and will begin pre-sales from 3 June at authorised Lexus dealerships nationwide.
The LM 500h, set to launch on 24 July, is the second generation of the model, which was unveiled at its world premiere in April 2023. 'LM' stands for 'Luxury Mover' and was developed with the aim of providing a mobile space where customers pursuing a luxury lifestyle can find their true self. It is characterised by comfort and functionality for all passengers, an elegant yet dynamic and omotenashi interior and exterior design, vibration and noise insulation, and a wide range of amenities.
The LM 500h's keyword is 'Dignified Elegance', which is reflected in its luxurious exterior and airy, spacious interior. The front end features Lexus' design identity 'Spindle Body' with a full chrome-plated finish and triple-beam LED headlamps to create a modern and powerful image. On the sides, a low, elongated beltline silhouette creates a striking presence, while the floating-roof design emphasises fluidity and openness. At the rear, the stance is emphasised by a central bulge and fender volume, while the signature Lexus L-shaped bar lamps embody the Lexus design language.
The GA-K platform is powered by a 2.4L petrol turbo hybrid system with four inline-4 cylinders and a six-speed automatic transmission to deliver powerful driving performance. The DIRECT4 all-wheel drive system with an eAxle at the rear provides stable handling and optimal driving comfort by independently controlling power to the front and rear wheels depending on driving conditions.
The LM 500h will be available in a four-seat Royal grade, which offers a separate second-row space, and a six-seat Executive grade, which allows for flexible space utilisation through a variety of seating positions. The 4-seater Royal grade is equipped with ▲ a partition glass that can be dimmed and vertically opened and closed to create a private and personalised space between the driver and second row, ▲ a 48-inch ultra-wide display, ▲ and targeted climate control for each body part to provide the ultimate luxury shopper-driven experience. The 6-seater Executive Grade also offers a wide range of amenities for the comfort and convenience of second-row passengers, including second-row VIP seats, Universal Step, and Leary Ultimate Concierge.
It is priced at KRW 196 million for the four-seater Royal Grade and KRW 148 million for the six-seater Executive Grade (inclusive of VAT, 5%). For more information on pre-contracting the LM 500h, please visit Lexus Korea's website or authorised Lexus dealerships nationwide.
