As a follow-up to its rebranding, Renault Korea has changed the official name of its sales representatives to Sales Advisors and is openly recruiting until 17 May to prepare for the launch of new cars in the second half of the year.
Following the announcement of its new brand strategy in April, which included changing the company's emblem to the diamond-shaped "lojangju", Renault Korea has also changed the official name of its sales representatives at its showrooms nationwide to "Sales Advisor (SA)". The company also plans to change the attire of its sales representatives to give customers a more professional yet friendly image of them.
The change in the name of Renault Korea's sales function is part of the company's plan to further broaden the scope of its sales representatives. In addition to selling new cars, Renault Korea Sales Advisors will be able to sell a range of 'The Original' products from the Renault brand. Furthermore, Renault Korea's used car business, which is currently under review, will be included in the Sales Advisor's scope in the future.
Renault Korea is recruiting more sales advisors to prepare for the launch of new vehicles in the second half of the year. Anyone interested in becoming a Renault Korea Sales Advisor, regardless of age, gender, education or experience, can apply online through the Renault Korea website until the 17th of this month.
"In preparation for the launch of our new mid-size SUV, which will be unveiled at the Busan Mobility Show next month, we will be recruiting a large number of new sales advisors who will help us shape the rebirth of Renault Korea," said Jae-Sub Hwang, Head of Sales and Network, Renault Korea. "We will actively support our sales advisors along with our dealer agents to learn and perform their sales duties in an excellent environment."
Renault Korea is also known as the sales academy of the automotive industry thanks to its accumulated and systematic sales training programme, which has been in place since its inception. Sales representatives are continuously provided with online and face-to-face training to learn about automobiles in general, Renault Korea products, and sales know-how, enabling them to grow as professionals even if they have never sold cars before.
