Maserati will premiere two special editions of its super sports car MC20 at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July).
The MC20 was the first Maserati to feature the revolutionary V6 'Nettuno' engine developed by 100% Maserati, and has since been recognised on the global motorsport stage for its unrivalled style and performance. Maserati will once again capture the world's attention with the unveiling of two special editions of the MC20 at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the world's largest motoring event, which takes place from 11-14 May in West Sussex, England.
The stars of the show are the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda, each limited to 20 examples. They were created in 2004 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the return of the famous MC12 to racing competition and its return to the track after a 37-year absence. The MC20 Icona wears two special liveries inspired by the MC12 Stradale and the MC20 Leggenda by the MC12 GT1 Vitaphone, with liveries and interiors from Maserati's bespoke Fuoriserie programme, giving the two cars a unique and refined look. Both models can be seen in person at the Supercar Paddock.
Alongside these are iconic Maserati models. The Supercar Paddock will feature the MC12 Versione Corse, based on the 2005 FIA GT Championship-winning MC12 GT1, alongside the MC20 Cielo in a 'Blu Victory' colour scheme reminiscent of the MC12. The Electric Avenue will showcase the New GranCabrio Folgore, the luxury segment's first 100% electric convertible.
Meanwhile, the MC20 Ikona, MC20 Regenda and MC20 Cello will be running the Hillclimb, the signature event of Goodwood 2024, to showcase their outstanding performance and appeal.
