Mercedes-Benz Korea is launching the 'EQ Worry Free Package' programme for customers purchasing its electric vehicles to ease the burden of electric vehicle operation and maintenance and enhance customer satisfaction through various benefits.
Each service item in the 'EQ Warranty Free Package' has been set up in consideration of the characteristics of the domestic EV market and customer needs to ensure that customers can use their cars with peace of mind throughout the lifecycle of their EVs, and will be available to customers from April.
Firstly, the warranty period, which includes warranty repairs and free towing and 24-hour roadside assistance in the event of a breakdown, will be extended from three years or 100,000 kilometres to five years or 170,000 kilometres (new) from the vehicle's original registration date. In addition, customers will receive a £1,000 voucher for top-ups (for customers using Mercedes-Benz Financial or Mercedes-Benz Mobility Financial Services).
In addition, customers who take delivery of an electric vehicle from March to December this year will be reimbursed for the cost of replacing a tyre in the event of a puncture while driving (up to a limit of KRW 1 million). The EQ Worry Free Package is available at the nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership, and more information about the package can be found on the official Mercedes-Benz Korea website or at the dealership.
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea, which is leading the electrification trend in Korea, is also taking the lead in activities to increase the convenience of customers purchasing electric vehicles. Launched last year, Mercedes-Benz Airport Service offers a 50% discount to its pure electric vehicle customers for an unlimited number of times, and in the third quarter of this year, the company will open a dedicated consultation centre for electric vehicles.
