Mercedes-Benz Korea is introducing Warrant Plus Extra, a new extended warranty product that allows customers to take out a new subscription at any time, even after the official warranty period has ended, to support customers who keep their vehicles for longer.
The 'Warranty Plus Extra' service is a product that can be purchased at any time, even if the official service warranty period has ended, as long as the vehicle is within 7 years of the original registration date and 150,000 km of mileage. As with the existing extended warranty product, it provides warranty repair benefits for powertrain, body, and general parts, roadside assistance, and reimbursement for comprehensive vehicle inspections.
With 'Warranty Plus Extra', Mercedes-Benz customers can keep their warranty subscription for up to eight years after purchase, giving them more peace of mind over the years of ownership, and both new and used Mercedes-Benz customers can join at their own convenience, making it cost-effective to access official services.
With the expansion of new car sales and Mercedes-Benz used car sales, Mercedes-Benz Korea has made it possible for customers to sign up for a new extended warranty service at their convenience, unlike the previous service, which was difficult to sign up for after the warranty period ended, allowing more customers to experience high-quality service at authorised service centres nationwide.
'Warranty Plus Extra' is available for Mercedes-Benz vehicles sold in Korea from three years after the original registration date to seven years and 150,000 kilometres, subject to a preliminary inspection and accident history. The subscription price varies from 1.3 million won to 7.98 million won depending on the model.
Warranty Plus Extra is available at 75 authorised Mercedes-Benz service centres nationwide.
