Volvo Cars Korea is expanding and relocating its Volvo Gangnam Daechi showroom and opening a new service centre to strengthen customer service contact points and provide more differentiated services in the Gangnam area of Seoul.
The Volvo Gangnam Daechi Showroom and Service Centre, operated by Volvo Cars Korea's authorised dealer, H Motors, has a total gross floor area of 4,600.78㎡ (approx. 1,392 pyeong), nine floors above ground and five floors below ground, and can repair up to 450 vehicles per month. It was also designated as a 'Seoul Green Building Certification Building' for its sustainable design that uses eco-friendly building materials and utilises renewable energy such as solar and geothermal power.
The ground floor features a showroom with a wide range of Volvo Cars and a customer lounge with a premium Swedish feel. The basement level consists of a service lounge, vehicle delivery zone, work bays, and customer parking, as well as fast (DC combo) and slow (AC combo) chargers for electric vehicles. Volvo Cars Korea will open the Gangnam Daechi showroom first, followed by the service centre in mid-May.
To celebrate the opening of the Gangnam Daechi showroom, we are also running a number of customer offers. All customers who visit the showroom will receive a set of Swedish New Egg Packs and all new car contract customers will receive a 'Pick By Volvo' camping folding box. In addition, contract and outgoing customers will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as a Dyson air purifier and a DeLonghi coffee machine. There will also be family-friendly events such as cultural performances and Swedish lifestyle talks.
"We are relocating the showroom and opening a new service centre to make it more convenient for customers in the Gangnam area of Seoul to enjoy Volvo Cars' premium services," said Yoon Mo Lee, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea. "We will continue to put customer satisfaction at the forefront of our business and strive for sustainable growth alongside quantitative growth."
Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea aims to achieve customer satisfaction through aggressive network expansion. Following the relocation of the Gangnam Daechi showroom, the company plans to open new showrooms in Cheongju and Gunsan, as well as new service centres in the same areas.
