Volkswagen's authorised dealer, Yukaro Automobiles, has signed an official sports marketing partnership with K-League 2 Busan IPark for the 2024 season.
At Busan Asiad Stadium, home of Busan IPark, where the signing ceremony took place, a season-high 8,607 spectators visited the stadium for "Family Love Day", and at the entrance to the stadium, Volkswagen's all-electric SUV ID.4 and the seven-seater family SUV Tiguan All Space, prepared by Yukaro Automobiles, were on display, attracting the attention of visitors.
Volkswagen mugs and various souvenirs were given to customers who visited the exhibition area, and petrol vouchers were given to those who purchased a car after an on-site consultation, attracting great interest from spectators at the football stadium.
"We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Yukaro Automobile, Volkswagen Korea's official dealer for Busan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju," said Byung-seok Kim, CEO of Busan i-Park, who attended the signing ceremony. As part of the sports marketing partnership, Volkswagen's footage and images will be displayed via LED advertising in the stadiums, actively promoting the brand to spectators attending the games as well as football fans watching the matches across the country.
Yukaro Automobiles is committed to conveying the Volkswagen brand's values and diverse lifestyle experiences through sports by sponsoring leading K League clubs such as Ulsan HD FC and Jeju United, including Busan Ice Park.
