Chabot Motors, the official importer of INEOS Automotive in Korea, held a special ceremony at INEOS Grenadier Seoul in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on Thursday 13th November to hand over the first INEOS Grenadier in Korea to Byung-gil Jung, CEO of camping brand Minimalworks.
"When I was looking for an authentic off-road vehicle that was different from the usual city SUVs, I was attracted to the Grenadier because of its pure off-road capability and classic design," said Byung-gil Jung, CEO of Grenadier. "It was also very convenient to be able to select and pay for the numerous options and accessories I wanted for the vehicle, from the interior to the exterior, directly online, as opposed to buying from a traditional import dealer," he added.
Chabot Motors CEO Jin-koo Chung said: "The pre-contract, which started in July last year, has received interest far exceeding our expectations. Meanwhile, thanks to the support of INEOS Automotive headquarters, we have been able to deliver the Grenadier to our customers smoothly. "We will do our best to ensure that the delivery of the vehicles to customers who have been waiting for months goes smoothly." "We are also planning various community activities, such as off-road capability demonstrations and vehicle self-repair training, to enhance customer interaction. "We are also planning a number of community activities to further engage with our customers, such as off-road capability demonstrations and vehicle self-repair training, to help them get the most out of their Inneoos Grenadier.
The brainchild of Ineos Group Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Grenadier combines British grit and design with German engineering rigour and is powered by a proven BMW in-line six-cylinder 3.0L petrol turbo engine, trapezoidal frame chassis, all-wheel drive system, up to three locking differentials and solid beam axles.
The Grenadier lineup starts with a station wagon that's like a blank canvas that can be configured to meet your exact needs. It offers the comfort, refinement and standard features that today's drivers expect. The Grenadier station wagon is priced from $19.9 million in Korea.
Five INEOS Grenadier trims are available in Korea: the five-seat Grenadier Station Wagon, Grenadier Trialmaster Edition, Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition, Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition With Rough Pack and Grenadier Korea Pack.
