Cadillac will unveil LYRIQ, the brand's first all-electric vehicle, today and begin pre-orders. Bringing together all of Cadillac's capabilities for a new level of brand experience, including its futuristic design language and next-generation technology, LYRIQ is set to be the best-selling single model among luxury brands in the U.S. market in the first quarter of 2024, the most competitive period for electric vehicles.
Based on a design inspired by 'The Rhythms of Nature', Lyric blends elements of Cadillac's heritage and next-generation technology to perfectly meet customers' aspirations for a new EV design.
In particular, the 'Black Crystal Shield', a new finishing technology that replaces the traditional grille design of internal combustion engine models, emphasises the first impression with a glowing 3D logo and grille pattern that has never been seen before. At the same time, The Illumination Sequence, which is automatically triggered when the passenger approaches, adds a new dimension to the visuals, creating a 'choreography of light'.
In response to the overwhelming interest and support for the Lyric, Cadillac will make its first domestic unveiling at The House of GM, GM's integrated brand space, on 23rd and begin the official pre-contracting process at showrooms nationwide.
