Toyota Motor Korea is showcasing the RX Outdoor concept, based on the RX 450h+, at Connect2, a Lexus multifunctional cultural space, until 30 June.
This special exhibition is designed to showcase the outdoor lifestyle of understanding and enjoying nature while striving for a carbon-neutral society through electrified models, with the concept of 'complete relaxation in the tranquil forest', away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The RX Outdoor Concept is based on the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid model and offers high-quality driving performance while contributing to carbon neutrality by reducing CO2 emissions through hybrid and EV operation. It is also equipped with large-diameter all-season tyres that are excellent for driving on rough outdoor surfaces and a rooftop tent for camping without the need for a separate tent.
To celebrate this special exhibition, Connect2 is hosting various events until 30 June. Reflecting the exhibition's concept of camping in the tranquil forest, special seating will be available at the camping zone for drinks and desserts, and two special menu items will be available: "Forest Road," an organic ice cream dessert made with blue jack meat from Lexus Young Farmer Lee Jong-seok, and "Greenleaf Smoothie," a green tea smoothie.
"We have prepared this special exhibition so that our customers can experience the carbon neutrality and diverse lifestyle that Lexus pursues in a different way," said Byung-jin Lee, Vice President of Toyota Motor Korea.
Meanwhile, Connect2 is running a Driving Experience programme every Thursday to Sunday, offering up to six hours of exclusive test drives of Lexus' latest electrified line-up. For more information, visit the Lexus website.
