Ferrari is launching two new warranty extension programmes dedicated to plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, a first for the brand. The models covered are the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, SF90 XX Stradale, SF90 XX Spider, 296 GTB and 296 GTS.
The new "Warranty Extension Hybrid" and "Power Hybrid" are designed for customers who want to prolong the performance and excellence of their Ferrari hybrid sports car. The two services can be purchased in packages renewable from two to four years and can be subscribed through dealers in the authorised Ferrari network, regardless of the car's year of production. Models that are out of the manufacturer's warranty period, which covers the first three years from the factory, can also be enrolled through a technical inspection carried out by a Ferrari dealer.
Ferrari's PHEV models already include a five-year warranty on hybrid components. Add to that the 'Extended Warranty Hybrid' programme, and you get an extended all-inclusive warranty that covers the entire car. In addition, if you extend your warranty to the eighth year, the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) can be replaced at no extra cost.
Another service, the Power Hybrid programme, extends the manufacturer's warranty on all major powertrain components, including those related to the hybrid system, from year 8 to year 16. In year 16, the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) can be replaced at no additional cost. Both programmes guarantee that as battery technology develops in the future, the HVB will be replaced with a new, state-of-the-art HVB that guarantees the same performance.
As with Ferrari's other extended warranty programmes, these two new initiatives will be transferred to the next owner. The two new special services demonstrate Ferrari's commitment to providing the highest level of safety for its customers and its leadership in after-sales programmes.
