Porsche Korea is participating as an official partner of Art Busan 2024, a four-day exhibition taking place at BEXCO in Busan until the 12th of this month, with the Salon de Panamera.
Based on the concept of European salon culture, which served as the backbone of intellectual discourse through the creative exchange of art, philosophy and literature, Porsche Korea will share the brand's philosophy of constantly innovating while maintaining its distinctive design with the new Panamera 4, which boasts a strong presence as a luxury sports sedan.
As a brand that originated from Perry Porsche's 'dream' of the perfect sports car, Porsche Korea has been supporting the dreams and talents of emerging artists in Korea and carrying out various campaigns to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy public art. This partnership with Art Busan, which combines art, luxury and recreation by leveraging the local characteristics of Busan, will showcase a variety of works, including the new Panamera at the intersection of art and technological capabilities, and provide audiences with a wide range of cultural and artistic experiences and the opportunity to share a unique luxury experience.
The Art Busan VIP Preview on the 9th will offer a private docent programme, special performances, networking sessions in line with the salon concept, and VIP packages.
The Salon de Panamera will take place from 10 to 12 May at the Collectors' Lounge in Exhibition Hall 1, BEXCO. The Collector's Lounge will be open to VIP ticket and Collector's Pass holders, and will also feature a wealth of on-site events.
"The new Panamera, which embodies the brand's philosophy with its attractive design and innovative technology, is in line with the dynamism that has developed through Europe's salon culture, a place of intellectual and cultural exchange where new and creative ideas are explored," said Holga Gehrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea. "With Art Busan, we will do our best to create a cultural hub where more citizens and Porsche fans can enjoy art and culture together."
Meanwhile, Art Busan, which is celebrating its 13th edition this year, is one of Korea's leading global art fairs and will be the largest in the first half of the year with 129 galleries from 20 countries around the world. In particular, this year's Art Busan, with its new slogan 'Creative Encounter', will provide a place for creative recreation so that various global and Asian actors can connect around Art Busan.
