Volkswagen Group Korea has appointed Steve Cloete as the new President of the Audi brand in South Korea. Steve Cloete will be responsible for all aspects of Audi's business operations in Korea from 1 May.
Steve Clottey has more than 27 years of experience in the automotive industry, having worked in South Africa and Bahrain for various automotive brands including BMW and Hyundai. From 2014 to 2019, he was responsible for aftersales and dealer network operations at Audi Australia, and since 2019, he has been heading up sales and network development at Audi Australia.
Meanwhile, his predecessor, Hyun-Ki Lim, is preparing for a new role. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hyun-Ki Lim for his dedication and significant contribution to the development of Audi of Korea over the past 20 years. As an early member of Audi Korea, he has demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication, remaining steadfast and committed throughout the brand's ups and downs. We wish him every success in his future endeavours."
