On 17 May, Toyota Motor Corporation donated KRW 150 million in sponsorship and held a special performance with the KBS Symphony Orchestra at the Icheon Athletes' Village of the Korea Para Sports Federation to support the national athletes competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

In April, Toyota Motor Corporation officially signed an agreement to sponsor the Korean National Team for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, continuing its support of the Korean Para Sports Federation as part of Toyota's 'Start Your Impossible' campaign to challenge the impossible.

On the 17th, Toshiyuki Nakahara, Vice President of Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea, Jongchul Park, President of the Icheon Athletes' Village of the Korea Para Sports Federation, and other Toyota Motor Corporation employees attended the ceremony to wish the national athletes well, as well as about 200 athletes who are training for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The KBS Symphony Orchestra and bassist Jeon Jun-han, known for his work as a culinary vocalist, performed a total of 12 songs, including Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" and Piazzolla's "Libertine Tango." In particular, Hong Rin-kyung, a lecturer in the Sejong Dream Tree Orchestra, which is sponsored by Toyota Motor Corporation, delivered a message of encouragement and the value of never giving up to the 2024 Paris Paralympic Team.

"In particular, this year's performance featured the participation of Hong Rin-kyung, a former member of the Sejong Dream Tree Orchestra, to add to the meaning of a virtuous cycle of sharing," said Toshiyuki Nakahara, Vice President of Toyota Motor Corporation. "As a good corporate citizen, Toyota Motor Corporation will continue to promote social contribution activities that benefit Korean society."

Toyota Motor Corporation has sponsored the Korea Para Table Tennis Association from 2017 to 2022, and has been the main sponsor of the Korea Para Sports Congress since last year. Not only in the field of sports for the disabled, Toyota Motor Corporation has been engaged in various activities to create a society where everyone can be happy "together".
