Hyundai Motor has released a teaser image of the CASPER Electric, a new benchmark for the democratisation of electric vehicles. It inherits the rigid silhouette of the base model CASPER, but evolves with electrified design elements to create a distinctive look.
The first thing you notice about the Casper Electric from the teaser image is its robust yet streamlined contours. The front turn signals and front facing DRLs with distinctive pixel graphics, along with the tail and stop lamps at the rear, complete the futuristic unity of the vehicle.
Hyundai also showed strong confidence in the product with a teaser image of the Casper Electric's cluster section, revealing a range of 315 kilometres per charge.
"As a new vehicle class that has never existed before, Casper Electric will be a benchmark vehicle that will lead the way in popularising the domestic electric vehicle market," said a Hyundai Motor official. "We will provide customers with an electrification experience that exceeds their expectations by adding unrivalled productivity to Casper's unique character."
Hyundai Motor Company is launching an online teaser event for the Casper Electric starting today. Customers who sign up for the event through the website will receive product information, including advertisements for Casper Electric, and information on the start of pre-contracting in real time, and will be eligible to win fast-track tickets for the fastest delivery of Casper Electric, Naver Pay vouchers, Starbucks gift certificates, and more.
Meanwhile, Hyundai will showcase Casper Electric to customers for the first time at the Busan Mobility Show on Thursday, 27th of this month.
