Kia Recruits Participants for Career Tour Programme in Pangyo Techno Valley

Kia is recruiting participants for the 'Pangyo Techno Valley Career Tour' programme for middle and high school students nationwide from 1 April (Mon) to 12 April (Fri).

The Pangyo Techno Valley Career Tour is part of Kia Inspiring Class, Kia's social contribution programme for youth to foster future generations, and provides youth with the opportunity to explore careers in the high-tech industries of the future by visiting major companies in Pangyo Techno Valley, a global convergence R&D hub.

Kia will help the youth experience the atmosphere of the industrial field that is difficult to learn in the classroom, such as ▲ bus tours to visit major institutions and companies located in Pangyo Techno Valley ▲ job mentoring with companies specialising in the high-tech industries of the future ▲ technology experience at institutions specialising in the IT field.

In particular, this year, the number of programmes and the scale of recruitment will be expanded from last year to provide more junior and senior high school students with the opportunity to explore careers. A total of 20 events will be held from May to October, eight more than last year, and 600 participants will be recruited, 245 more than last year.

In addition, special programmes will be organised for youth from local children's centres and nursery schools who may be marginalised from career experience opportunities. In August, we will organise the 'Kia Base Tour Programme' to provide career experience opportunities during the summer vacation period by visiting the 'Kia Flagship Store' and 'Kia 360'.

Participants can apply for the 'Pangyo Techno Valley Career Tour' through the QR code on the promotional poster, and groups will be accepted by class. Up to 30 students per class can be accepted, with priority given to schools in rural and agricultural areas.

"We have put in place various programmes to help young people find their dreams," said a Kia representative, "and we will continue to spare no effort to support future generations to design their own careers."

The Kia Inspiring Class is a career education programme that provides opportunities for youth to explore their career paths, and consists of three programmes: the Pangyo Techno Valley Career Tour, the Future Tech Career Classroom, where they can experience the high-tech industries of the future, and the Green Changers Supporters, which includes mentoring from experts in the environmental field.
