Bentley named 'Britain's Most Admired Car Company' for second year running

May 2023 Crewe , Cheshire - Bentley Motors

Bentley Motors today announced that it has been named Britain's Most Admired Automotive Manufacturer for the second year running in Echo Research's 'Britain's Most Admired Companies' survey.

The Britain's Most Admired Companies award has been running since 1990 and is voted for by leading business executives, making it the most prestigious and recognised survey of corporate reputational brands in the UK. This is the third time Bentley has won the award, having previously won in 2019 and 2023.

The survey covered 250 companies across 25 industries, and Bentley was ranked first out of 250 companies, with the highest ratings in eight of the 13 categories. Bentley received the highest scores in the following categories: product and service quality, management quality, financial transparency, innovation capability, long-term value potential, inspirational leadership, talent development and retention, and corporate competitiveness.

Bentley's distinctive model line-up, sustained operational performance and forward-looking 'Beyond100' strategy were particularly praised. In 2020, Bentley unveiled its Beyond100 strategy, which sets out a new vision for sustainable luxury mobility, and announced a £2.5 billion investment over 10 years to achieve full electrification by 2030.

We also plan to be fully carbon neutral in all of our manufacturing operations, including those of our supply partners, by 2030. Bentley's production base in Crews, England, already achieved full carbon neutrality in 2019, and has more than 36,000 solar panels that share 751 terawatt-hours of the plant's electricity consumption, a water recycling facility, a 1 million bee apiary, and a Living Green Wall that uses living plants to insulate and purify the air. In 2023, the company will launch the Bentley Environmental Foundation to make direct investments in a variety of environmental causes.

Meanwhile, Britain's Most Admired Companies is an annual survey conducted by Echo Research, a UK-based research company specialising in corporate and brand reputation. It is one of the longest running corporate reputation surveys in the UK and is now in its 34th year, having been launched in 1990.
