Maserati unveils GT2 Stradale for the first time at Monterey Car Week 2024

Maserati has unveiled the world premiere of its new super sports car, the GT2 Stradale, at the 2024 Monterey Car Week on 16 March (local time).

Unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, a highlight of Monterey Car Week, the Maserati GT2 Stradale is the culmination of the technical and design DNA of the GT2 and the uniquely styled MC20, which was created for the car's return to GT competition. It simultaneously evokes the racing performance of the GT2 and the design of the MC20, while ensuring comfort in all driving conditions and delivering the exceptional driving experience that Maserati is renowned for.

True to its racing DNA, the GT2 Stradale has a top speed in excess of 320 kilometres per hour. Peak power is 640bhp, 10bhp more than the MC20, and 0-62mph takes just 2.8 seconds. This performance makes it feel like you're driving a track car behind the wheel, and you can enjoy the best of both worlds wherever you are.

With its bold and forward-thinking design, the Maserati GT2 Stradale offers a wide range of optional equipment and can be customised with exclusive performance-enhancing packages. It can also be personalised through Maserati's exclusive Fuoriserie personalisation programme.

The Quail, where the Maserati GT2 Stradale was unveiled, also featured the North American debut of the recently launched, one-off MC20 Icona, as well as the most powerful track car ever, the MCXtrema, which took its first customer delivery at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

"The Maserati GT2 Stradale is an extraordinary product that inherits the brand's greatest sporting heritage while also representing the evolution of one of Maserati's most iconic cars, the MC20. It was born out of the desire to offer more to our customers on the road in terms of technology, innovation, design and emotion," said Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati. "It is a product that can meet the needs of the most sophisticated enthusiasts and a new creation that expresses all the essence of the brand."
