Hyundai Motor Company will launch the 2025 Avante, a refreshed model of The New Avante, on Thursday (20th) and will begin sales in earnest. The new model is characterised by improved utilisation of the cluster space and expanded customer preferences to the mid and lower trims.
Hyundai has improved the productivity of the new Avante by allowing customers to attach items using magnets to the 'cluster side panel' on the left side of the steering wheel. Customers will also be able to customise items that can be attached to the panel, such as a multipurpose storage box and a card multi-holder, so they can use them for various purposes according to their preferences.
In addition, all trims of the 2025 Avante come standard with an electronic rear-view mirror (ECM), and the productivity of the modern trim has been enhanced by adding ▲High Pass, ▲Driver's Safety Power Window, and ▲Second-row air vents. In addition, productivity improvements were made for customer safety, such as the installation of an interior fire extinguisher, and a new exterior colour, 'Mirage Green', which was popular before the Kona, was introduced.
The 2025 Avante is priced at $19,994,000 for the 1.6 petrol model, $23,326,000 for the Smart, $26,999,000 for the Modern, and $26,699,000 for the Inspiration, and $24,446,000 for the N Line petrol 1.6 model, $27,788,000 for the Modern, and $26,788,000 for the Inspiration. LPi models are priced at KRW 21.34 million for Smart, KRW 24.65 million for Modern and KRW 28.26 million for Inspiration.
Hybrid models are priced at KRW 24,485,000 for Smart, KRW 27,751,000 for Modern and KRW 30,092,000 for Inspiration, while N Line Hybrid models are priced at KRW 28,851,000 for Modern and KRW 31,161,000 for Inspiration (hybrid models reflect tax incentives). The N petrol 2.0 Turbo model is priced at 33.6 million won.
In addition, Hyundai Motor will hold a "Trendy Home Appliance Event" to give away new conceptual home appliances to reward customers for their love of the 2025 Avante and its unique image. Eighty-four (84) new Avante customers will be selected to receive exotic prizes such as an LG Homebrew (1), LG CineBeam (3), LG Wine Cellar (30), and LG Sprouted Mini + Seed Kit (50) (prizes will be distributed upon delivery of the vehicle).
Customers who sign a new contract for a 2025 Avante from 20 June to 31 July, or complete a contract switch, can enter on the event page on Hyundai's official website, and the winner will be announced in early August (see Hyundai's official website for more details on the event).
"The 2025 Avante has expanded customer preferences by improving the utilisation of cluster space and introducing new exterior colours," said a Hyundai Motor official, "We will continue to strive to provide customers with the vehicles they want."
Meanwhile, the Avante has been steadily gaining popularity in the global market with more than 15 million units sold since the first generation was launched in 1990, thanks to its excellent design and productivity. In particular, the current model, which entered its seventh generation in 2020, was named the 2021 NACTOY (The North American Car, Truck and Utility of the Year) in the U.S. the following year, and in May, it was named the 'Best Car for Teens' by U.S. News & World Report.
