Hyundai Motor Company will launch a completely revamped app for its mobility subscription platform, Hyundai Selection, on Wednesday (10th). Hyundai Selection is a service that allows customers to rent as many Hyundai vehicles as they want on a daily or monthly basis through the mobile app.
With the launch of the renewed app, Hyundai has increased the number of cars and trims available for rental and completely revamped the app interface and subscription plans. First, Hyundai added the Ioniq 5 N, Santa Fe, and Tucson, bringing the total number of vehicles to 20, and increased the number of trims from one per vehicle to up to four (subject to change by service area and time of year).
We also added a 'filter' function to help customers quickly find the car they want, and a 'recommended car' function to suggest cars that match their needs. The subscription fee, which was previously charged by car class, such as light, compact, and mid-size cars, has been reorganised to be charged by the car type and trim of the car the customer is renting, giving customers more choices.
The Renewal App allows you to pay for the subscription fee with Blue Members Points, which you can previously only earn, and Hyundai Motor Group's easy payment service Hyundai Pay (however, Blue Members Points can be used to pay up to 201 TP3T of the subscription fee within the limit of KRW 1 million per year). Long-term customers will receive discounts on subscription fees ranging from 2 to 31 TP3T for 3 months, 4 to 71 TP3T for 6 months, and 6 to 101 TP3T for 12 months (discount rates vary by rental vehicle).
In addition, Hyundai is also running the 'Oh-Gong-Gu (Share Today, Get Free) Challenge', which offers a free one-month subscription to customers who invite the most members with a refer-a-friend code by 10 August, and the Renewal App launch event, where all customers who sign up by 31 December will receive a discount of 10% for a monthly subscription and 20% for a daily subscription.
