KG Mobility accelerates global expansion into New Zealand, Paraguay and other markets

KG Mobility (KGM) is stepping up its global expansion with the launch of new vehicles in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets, including New Zealand and Paraguay, as well as strengthening local marketing.

KGM participated in the New Zealand National Fieldays, New Zealand's largest agricultural show, held at Mystery Creek near Hamilton, New Zealand, from 12 to 15 November, exhibiting Torres, Torres EVX, Rexton, Rexton Sport and Tivoli, and educating visitors about the KGM brand, including product descriptions.

With an average of 1,000 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors each year, the New Zealand Agricultural Show is the largest agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting companies from a range of industries including telecommunications, IT and electronics, as well as agriculture.

KGM re-launched the KGM brand in the New Zealand market in March with a test drive and launch event for the Torres and Torres EVX, inviting local dealers and journalists to test drive the Torres and Torres EVX, and the company plans to increase sales volumes through increased collaboration with local dealers and a variety of aggressive marketing strategies to coincide with the launch of the new models, including participation in the Agricultural Show.

With the launch of the new Torres, Kia Motors is expanding its exports to the Paraguayan market with the launch of the KGM brand. More than 200 Paraguayan dealers and journalists attended the launch event at the local dealer's showroom in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, on the 11th of this month (local time). The dealers and journalists who attended the event expressed great satisfaction with the Torres, as well as the Rexton and Rexton Sport on display, and showed great expectations for the product.

Paraguay has yet to see significant growth in the new car market, but with SUV sales accounting for 481 TP3T (as of H1 2023), it is an attractive market with significant growth potential for KGM, which will begin selling the Torres with this launch event.

"Starting with the launch of Torres EVX in the Turkiye market in March this year, we have continued to increase our exports by 261 TP3T from 2023, which was the highest in nine years, by launching new products and expanding sales, including in the New Zealand market," said a KGM representative. "We will continue to increase our global sales by launching new products in overseas markets, targeting emerging markets, strengthening cooperation with local agents, and expanding aggressive marketing strategies."
