KG Mobility launches 'Special Maintenance Service Campaign for Water Damaged Vehicles'

KG Mobility (KGM) is launching a special maintenance service campaign for customers whose vehicles have been damaged by weather disasters such as torrential rains and typhoons during the rainy season.

The special maintenance campaign will focus on areas severely affected by torrential rains until the end of October, and will include free inspections of flooded vehicles, free replacement of consumable parts, and measures to start vehicles with minor water damage.

During this period, KGM has set up a dedicated team to service flooded areas to establish an emergency contact system and coordinate with local authorities, and has set up a dedicated workshop to minimise damage for immediate response in the event of a disaster.

In addition, the company will also offer a special discount on repair bills for vehicles brought to KGM's 320 service networks nationwide due to water damage, with a discount of 40% off the total repair bill (for vehicles without self-insurance only).

"If your vehicle is flooded by water, it can cause serious damage to key parts of the vehicle, including the electrical system," said a KGM spokesperson. "It is essential to disconnect the power and have it towed out of the flooded area and serviced by a competent service network."
