MINI Korea handed over five new MINI Countrymen with Samsung Display

MINI Korea held a handover ceremony with Samsung Display at the S-Factory in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on 13 March to deliver the first new MINI Countryman to the Korean market.

The new MINI Countryman is an all-new model with MINI's iconic design and innovative digital experience, featuring the automotive industry's first circular OLED display, developed in collaboration with Samsung Display. To celebrate the launch of the New MINI Countryman and the unveiling of the New MINI Family, Samsung Display delivered five units simultaneously.

The handover ceremony was attended by Oliver Heilmer, Head of MINI Design and Visionary Design, Florian Kuenstner, Executive Vice President of MINI Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Han Sang-yoon, President and CEO of BMW Group Korea, Jung Soo-soo, General Manager of MINI Korea, Soon-ho Choi, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Samsung Display, Yong-seok Choi, Head of Sales 4, Ho-joong Lee, Head of Product Planning, and Ji-jee Lim, Pro Marketing.

Meanwhile, the new MINI Countryman is a premium SUV for all lifestyles, with a modern and sophisticated design, a larger body than the previous generation, more spaciousness, innovative digital experiences and powerful driving dynamics.

In particular, the 240mm diameter round OLED displays supplied by Samsung Display for the New MINI Family, including the New MINI Countryman, provide a smartphone-like experience with crystal-clear image quality and fast responsiveness.
