Meanwhile, Urox has been recognised for its quality and value by supplying genuine urea water to the largest number of automakers, including global automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Scania, MAN and Stellantis, as well as domestic automakers such as Hyundai and Tata Daewoo. It holds the permanent trademark of 'AdBlue', the international quality standard for urea water established by the German Association of the Automotive Industry, and has been ranked No. 1 in domestic sales for 16 consecutive years (according to the Ministry of Environment) and No. 1 in the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) for six consecutive years.
Urea water is used as a catalyst in the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system of diesel vehicles to remove nitrogen oxides (NOx), one of the main sources of fine particulate matter in exhaust gases, helping to improve air quality.
